La enfermedad del domingo un drama de Ramón Salazar que explora el vínculo roto entre una madre y su hija tras más de tres décadas de silencio. Anabel (Susi Sánchez) recibe una inesperada visita de Chiara (Bárbara Lennie), la hija que abandonó cuando era niña, y juntas emprenden un viaje emocional marcado por el perdón, la culpa y el deseo de reconciliación.
Con una puesta en escena delicada y poética, la película consagró a Susi Sánchez con el Premio Goya a la Mejor Actriz, consolidándose como una de las obras más conmovedoras del cine español reciente.
